PEACE MEDITATION – Held twice weekly with Sri Chinmoy , for beginners more experienced in meditation. Meditations are usually held in Auditorium; otherwise they are held in Conference Room A or B. and for those who are the Dag Hammarskjold
l-MILE FUN RUNS – Held in the spring and fall – for young and old, fast and slow, but mostly for FUN~ (Please see enclosed flyer for details!)
SACRED FIRE PLAY – A unique tribute to America, written by Sri Chinmoy, presenting an inner view of America I s historical efforts beginning with a personified family quarrel between England and America, with the world attempting to play referee. Admission is free – seating on a first come, first serve basis.
PEACE WALK FOR UNITED NATIONS CHARTER DAY – Represent your country and a renewed commitment to peace during a silent walk in the UN rose garden commemorating the 39th anniversary of the signing of the UN Charter. (Please see enclosed flyer for date and time of your country IS walk.) The last lap (“international” lap) will be held at 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday, 26 June, after which the final ceremony will be held on the public patio.
DELEGATES WIVES PEACE MEDITATION – The meditation/luncheon will be held this month at the home of Mrs. Therese Rossides (Cyprus), Thursday, 28th at 12:30-2:00 p.m. A silent period of meditation will be followed by questions and answers. If interested in attending or in free private instruction, please inquire at the number below.
